Website

Squarespace

The very website you are looking at was built on Squarespace! It should be a testament to Squarespace that I have all three of my business websites built on here, including my agency and my makeup website. So intuitive and easy to use, plus you can really create something beautiful!

Email Marketing

Squarespace

For email marketing, I use Squarespace’s in built email marketing tool. It’s not as pretty or fancy as others, but it does the job nicely at a really affordable price point, and integrates with your client scheduler and/or checkout to automatically hold those emails as part of your list. I love having everything all in one!

Client Booking System

You guessed it - Squarespace.

I love a multi use system and if it’s integrated with something I already use, double win, or in this case - TRIPLE! Squarespace uses Acuity Scheduling and integrates it with your website, meaning you can book your clients in for appointments, podcast interviews, masterclasses, live trainings - you name it - I use it for all of the above!

Project Manager

Asana

When people ask me “Kayleigh, how do you get it all done” - I credit Asana for a lot. Asana is a project managing/giant to do list tool. It helps me keep on track of all the tasks I have to do in my business, including my launches, my podcast edits, or just my general day to day. I always say our brains are not hard-drives, and Asana is a great place to dump all the things you need to do and give it a deadline. If you’re lucky, a unicorn appears, I’m not kidding!

Scheduler

Planoly

Wanna stay on track with your social posts? I have used Planoly religiously since 2019. You can visually see your grid so it’s great for makeup artists and planning exactly what your grid will look like, perfect if you’re a perfectionist. I also love that it gives you prime times to post, and really takes the edge off manual posting, keeping you consistent.

Music

Epidemic Sound

Want cool music for your reels and Youtube videos? Epidemic sound has great royalty free music that you won’t hear anywhere else. I love lofi, but I hear the same 2 tracks everywhere, so this is great for giving you actually GOOD music for your content.

Editing

Adobe

I use Adobe Premiere to edit my vlogs, Adobe Audition to edit my podcasts and Adobe Audition to manage my PDF’s. Additionally, I love Adobe Stock for music and Lightroom for random editing. Overall, I use Adobe a lot and it’s an essential for any content creator.

Podcasting

Riverside FM

Riverside FM is my go-to for recording remote podcast interviews. It’s clean, records video and excellent quality. Plus it generate transcripts and has a fab AI tool that creates social clips! Can’t rave enough!

CRM/Booking System

Studio Ninja

Honestly, how did I live without this thing. This is how I organise all my brides, their email workflows, their contracts, their payment - it makes bridal admin a complete breeze. Use my code here to get 20% off your CRM system (I promise its worth it, just listen to the podcast, I mention this every episode!)

Skincare

Dermatica

Did you know I used to have acne? In Covid as I hit my 30s, I developed some serious adult acne. I tried everything and was SO close to spending hundreds on a dermatologist (at the time, 2020 Kayleigh could NOT afford that) until I stumbled across Dermatica. You upload a photo of your skin from all angles, with a comprehensive breakdown and a dermatologist takes a look at it and prescribes you a little vial of… science? Well that little vial has kept my acne at bay for YEARS. We love her. Get £10 off your first order with the link above!

Deodorant

Fussy

Why am I recommending deoderant? I don’t think I’ve honestly had a subscription as long as my Fussy one. This little guy is a refillable deodorant, and costs me £5 a month (and you get a cute AF case). Every month you choose a scent, from Coconut, to Lemon to Parma Violets - and your deodorant refills come every 3 months (or whenever you schedule them to). It means, you’re never out of deodorant, and its super hormone and environment friendly.

Supplements

Athletic Greens

One thing that was game changing for me this year, was taking supplements. I won’t lie I was absolutely dragged into AG because of all the sheer amount of podcast ads I heard about these guys - I didn’t really know where else to start lol!! But I haven’t regretted it for a second, these things have increased my productivity 3x! Maybe its placebo, but it works for me!
